The MOU with the County should be signed on 7/23 and will auto-renew. The County is assigning a point of contact to work with the club on all things.
Work is underway to install 9 white tees at Central to support youth and adult clinics. As a side benefit, we will have a pitch and putt league this fall using the white tees. As it gets dark earlier, it will become a glow league.
Holes 2 and 20 are getting new par 3 baskets at Central.
Looking for improvement ideas at Chatt that we can submit to the County
Be on the look out for the FCA fund raiser at Chatt late summer and the Club's October tourney at Chatt and Throwmaggeden the week before Thanksgiving.

Member registration for 2024 is open. A huge thank you to those that signed up for a shortened 2023 membership. As a result of your commitment in 2023, we have approval for 3 tourneys next year at Chatt and 2 at Central. The club will host a tourney at each in the fall. They will be 2 day events with tee times. Details were posted on the member FB page. In addition, leagues and bag tags will start up with daylight savings in March, and doubles alternating between our courses starting in January. Members made this happen as strong membership shows the County our MOU was worth the effort.
For those that play league, you are encouraged to take the rules test so we have plenty of members to help run or back up those that are running leagues.
Planning is underway for youth clinics in 2024. We will have training available for those that want to participate or help with future club teams. More to come.

August 27, 2023 -
MOU has been approved. Paperwork being submitted for league now. Should be able to get in a session before time change.
Members can expect an invite to the club FB page by Labor Day. A members meeting will occur in September. The top priority is standing up and staffing the events and community committees. There is a lot of event planning to complete by 11/1 so we can submit the plans we know (like league, bag tags, tourneys) to them for 2024 planning. This covers both Chatt and CP.

June 11, 2023 (robert hadley)
Leagues are planned to begin the week of July 10th. It is dependent on the MOU being formally signed. I met with Matt and Danny on 6/9 to review the MOU so it can be sent on. The process takes 3 weeks. We also have approval for doubles to start up at the time with a few minor changes.
June 8, 2023
We got approval to from the Parks and Rec directors to move forward with the MOU. It will take about a month to get the legal document drafted and signed. In the mean time, we will be scheduling both leagues. Look for notifications from Jonny King about Chatt and Blake Redmond about CP. It will be added to the club calendar as soon as confirmed.
June 6, 2023
Bag tags will start in 2024. In 2023, we will purchase founders tags for all members who signup by October 1st. They will be epoxy tags made by Charity Goodwin.
We are looking for individuals who want to help grow the club and sport. Please look at the proposed committees listed on the bottom of the members page. If we can show we are a strong, active club to the County, we stand a good chance in a few years of being able to pursue a 3rd course.
Our 503(c)(3) paperwork is under review with the IRS. The IRS asked for more information which has been sent. Hopefully they will approve as that will enable us to convert to a Google non-profit account and our bank account from business to non-profit.
We will be looking for designers to create fun logos (think ThoughtSpace) that we can put on merchandise and sell.
