Mark your calendars for Throwmaggedan XI.  It will be a B-Tier for a low price.  Details will be on discgolfscene soon.  Dates November 21-22.  

There will be workdays in early November to make sure Central Park and Chattahoochee Pointe are in tournament condition.  Check the course Facebook pages for updates.  Your help makes all the difference.

May 1, 2026

Central Park League will be giving dragon trophies for 1st-3rd.  Players must have 8 rounds in between April 28th - September 15th.  Good Luck!

2026 Goals

Chattahoochee Pointe:

• Install sleeves for new positions 

• Raise money to purchase 16 baskets so most holes have at 2 permanent baskets 

• Work with County to get more trash cans alone the walking path

• Trim 16 and 17 twice this summer

Central Park:

• Repair tee pads 7red, 16 blue.

• Bury the frames on 13red, 19red

• Build new pads for 3blue, 9blue

• Clear trees, treat poison ivy, repair bridges, mow 14,15

Misc:

• Work with County on future replacement of mach3 baskets at Central

• Work with County on new courses including a short 9 hole in Cumming for kids and beginners

Seeking volunteers to help with a 4 part program to teach kids disc golf T/TH the first 2 weeks of November at 1p at Central Park.  Please send an email to focodgc@gmail.com if can help out.

Reminder:  Central Park Throwmaggedan is the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Will be seeking input from members on a disc swap event to trade or sell those discs we all have too many of.  Not meant to be a collector disc sales event.
